about.
How might we differentiate this new healthcare solution from other softwares in the industry?
CareWallet aims to improve the US healthcare system through a mobile solution that improves the interaction between patients and healthcare providers by digitizing the check-in experience and giving patients and their healthcare providers full access to their medical history which gives healthcare providers a more holistic picture of their health.
CareWallet was looking for an innovative and responsive mobile and desktop app design for their new healthcare solution, differentiating their product from traditional healthcare software in the industry.

Personality Levers
For our first client meeting, the team and client all did the personality levers branding exercise, in which everyone had to use a color dot and put where they think CareWallet would be on the scale.
My color is the pink, and the client's color is blue. After this exercise, the team was prioritizing a design that makes CareWallet Approachable, Conversational, and Unconventional
Feature Organization
During the second client meeting, the team brainstormed features and ideas for the application, and the client reviewed it and helped categorize the features that are priority.

User Personas
Another designer and I took point on creating two user personas for each flow, while the other designers started the user flows. She created the patient persona, and I created the provider persona, which is shown below.
User Flows
After two working sessions, the team was able to work together to finalize the user flow since there are so many features to these applications. Left image features patient flow; Right image features provider flow.

Design Iterations
The designers split up and created two possible design directions. Although our client preferred the typography of the left design system, he preferred the brighter color palette on the right compared to the earth color palette.
Low Fidelity Wireframes
Our Project Lead created new pairs for the two different digital applications. Another designer and I worked on the Provider Flow, while the other two designers worked on the Patient Flow. This was the last design I ended up helping with in regards to mobile. Left image features patient low-fi; Right image features provider low-fi.

Brand Book
During this project, I took lead in ensuring a design system that is approachable and unconventional to match the company’s mission. I completed the brand book on my own after the semester was over.
